We strengthen the Azelio Supply Chain Management (SCM) team with motivated and talented people. Today, we are approximately 20 persons located in Gothenburg, Åmål and Uddevalla. We are responsible for Planning & Logistic, Product Procurement, Supplier Quality, Cost Management and Strategic Sourcing.

The Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for establishing and securing the best possible supplier base for our products. To further sharpen our capacity in this area we are now searching for two new colleagues who will join us as Strategic Purchasers.

As a Strategic purchaser at Azelio your challenge will be to keep an eye on the horizon in a many times evolving environment and create the best sourcing conditions for your assigned categories. It is important that you are perceptive to and understand your stakeholders internally and your suppliers externally. You are also able to communicate key parameters that will make a difference and create value.

We are in a rapid expansion phase preparing for Start of Production in 2021, your tasks and purchase content are expected to vary with time requiring a high degree of flexibility, pro-activity and curiosity.

We need you who has a positive attitude, passion and experience to drive these tasks, whilst being flexible and service minded in the day to day business.

Your position

You will develop and implement sourcing strategies and you manage the overall supplier relationships; you “own” the supplier.

• Supplier scouting and selection within defined category scope. Initially the scope will include manufactured mechanical metal parts or products
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements including General Purchasing, Conditions and Frame-, Price- and Development Agreements
• Continuously benchmark suppliers for best practices with regards to technology, quality and cost efficiency
• Collect information about market dynamics
• Handles all purchasing activities such as supplier identification, RFI, RFQ, quote evaluation, sending PO, and follow up deliveries within defined category scope
• Handle Purchasing administration on ERP, issue and manage the PO, handle blocked invoices for supplier within defined category scope
• Participate in the product development project within assigned category

Your profile

• Relevant education for strategic sourcing or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience, minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experienced in contract negotiation and supplier relationship skills in international environment
• Experience from product development / R&D
• Technical and/or market knowledge within mechanical manufacturing or other areas, are meritorious
• Good computer skills including MS Office, strong in Excel, experience in Monitor is a benefit
• Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written), other language is a plus

These positions are placed in Åmål or Gothenburg.
