Providing access to clean power when and where it is needed.

Azelio specializes in energy storage with clean electricity and heat production. We have a solution to one of the biggest challenges facing the world today: how to supply affordable renewable power, when and where it is needed. A game-changing long-duration storage technology with emission free energy production, our solution comes at a significantly lower cost than L-ion batteries and polluting fossil alternatives.

Our TES.POD storage technology is revolutionary in that the energy becomes dispatchable, making renewable energy available around-the-clock. The energy is stored in recycled aluminium and converted into electricity and heat with a total efficiency of up to 90%. The solution is scalable, sustainable, and cost-efficient from 0.1 MW up to 20 MW.

We need to strengthen the Azelio CAE team with motivated and talented people. To support all needed competences for our product development we need to expand the group with further Solid Mechanics engineers.

Today, we are approximately 10 people located in Gothenburg responsible for all different CAE tasks and support to our product development. The team members are all integrated in the cross-functional project team. We support our test facilities with simulations and often use full scale tests to verify analyses results. Location is Göteborg or Åmål.

Your position

  • As Solid Mechanics engineer you will be working with 2D/3D Modelling (FEM) calculations for all parts of our system
  • You will perform strength calculations, structural dynamics analyses and life assessment
  • You perform linear and non-linear analyses when needed.
  • You will contribute in the process of system modelling of our engines and systems
  • You will support our development projects with structural mechanics skills in static as well as dynamic questions
  • Design, develop and dimension articles, subsystems and systems
  • Responsible for strategies, methods and development tools within CAE
  • Perform test planning and evaluation
  • Training of colleagues within calculation /CAE/ FEM
  • You will lead other employees and consultants
  • In order to expand Azelio's research, funding and skills base you participate in CAE development and networks

Your profile

You have a MSc or bachelor’s degree within analyses of Mechanical system and some years’ experience working with calculations in relevant industry. You have good knowledge in CAE programs like ANSYS, Ansa, HyperWorks and open-source software. You use Matlab and/or Python for scripting and are comfortable in a Linux cluster environment. You are fluent in English and Swedish.

Knowledge within Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) and Multibody dynamics (MBD) is an advantage. Understanding of Tribology are also of interest.

You are curious and want the opportunity to influence and implement new ideas. You are quality conscious as well as well-organized and effective. You are team oriented and would love to work in close cooperation with our highly committed colleagues.
