Azelio specializes in energy storage with clean electricity and heat production. We have a solution to one of the biggest challenges facing the world today: how to supply affordable renewable power, when and where it is needed. Our TES.POD storage technology is revolutionary in that the energy becomes dispatchable, making renewable energy available around-the-clock. The energy is stored in recycled aluminium and converted into electricity and heat with a total efficiency of up to 90%. The solution is scalable, sustainable, and cost-efficient from 0.1 MW up to 20 MW.
The Mechanical engineering team in Göteborg is in expansion, we are currently a group of 15 people who are looking forward to meeting new colleagues! The biggest challenge in the near future is to develop the prototype design to become a fully industrialized and serialized product. You will work in project teams with colleagues with broad technical competence, such as sourcing, calculation, production, project management, quality and test.
Your position
You will work as a design engineer with the Thermal Energy Storage Technology which is the heart of our concept and what gives us the opportunity to store heat and deliver this heat, also through the dark hours, to the Stirling engine. You will work with the latest technical solutions and be part of this game changing technology!
Your profile
You are a suitable candidate if you have a Master of science or bachelor’s degree within mechanical system/mechanical construction or equivalent work experience. You have knowledge of product development of complex mechanical systems. We would like you to have industrial experience of high-volume production products and good knowledge in 3D CAD (Autodesk, Inventor or equal).
