Strategic Buyer - Under tillsättning eller tillsatt, ej sökbar

We need to strengthen the Azelio sourcing team with motivated and talented people. Today, we are approximately 8 people located in Gothenburg and Åmål and plan to grow to approximately 12 people. We are responsible for all direct and indirect material spend, and support our product development, product industrialisation and company infrastructure. The Strategic Buyer is an important role within the cross-functional team and within the sourcing team.

Your position

• The role of a Strategic Buyer is to develop a supply base fulfilling the needs of Azelio with regards to 1) number of suppliers, 2) quality performance, 3) geographical location, and 4) technology capabilities within a defined scope
• The initial scope are electronic components, generator, motors, PCBA, wire harnesses and software to the complete system.
• Development of sourcing strategies and supplier scouting and selection
• Collect information about market dynamics
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements including General Purchasing Conditions and Frame-, Price- and Development Agreements
• Manage the overall supplier relationships
• Continuously benchmark suppliers for best practices with regards to technology, quality and cost efficiency.
• Create overview for raw material and follow up market development
• Handle Purchasing administration on ERP, issue and manage the PO, handle blocked invoices.
• Participate in the product development project of electrical control systems; possibly leading the purchasing activities

Candidate profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Experienced in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management in international environment.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills
• Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude
• Committed, self-starting, taking responsibility
• Good computer skills including MS Office, strong in Excel.
• Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
