Senior Market Analyst

We are now looking for a Senior Market Analyst to join our team. The Senior Market Analyst will play a key role in Azelio’s commercial development and global expansion. As Senior Market Analyst you will join the Marketing team and work closely with Sales and Business Development.

Your position 

Analyze regions and countries from a market perspective understanding the opportunities and challenges to enter a certain market, including:

• Import/Export prerequisites
• Political prerequisites
• Financial prerequisites
• Environmental prerequisites
• Business prerequisites

Analyze market segments understanding the opportunities and challenges to enter a certain market segment, including:

• Applying STP (segmentation, targeting, and positioning) approach
• Identify the sub-segments for our already identified target segments in our target countries
• Quantify the market volume of each sub-segment for each target country
• Profile end-user and customer behavior for each sub-segment
• Identify relevant end-user and service companies that serve end-users in each market

Competitor analysis

• Mapping competing offers, services, and price levels
• Mapping of customer agreement structures
• Work together with Advanced Engineering to map and track competing technologies.

Market insights and trends

• Support the sales organization with data and insights about regions, customer segments, best value for customers etc.
• Input to Marketing in Marketing Strategy Development for specific regions and sectors

Your profile

• At least a bachelor's degree in marketing, market research, statistics, computer science, math, social sciences, business administration, or communications
• You have at least 5 years work experience, of which 3 years in market analysis positions
• Experience with Microsoft Office, as well as statistical software platforms such as SPSS, WinCross, SAS, and Market Sight can help with sorting data, as well as creating visual results and trends
• Mathematical and analytical skills for analyzing research data

For this position we value communication skills and presentation experience to develop data into presentable material and input to strategic decisions. As the position will work with multiple parts of the organization, the ability of handling projects in parallel is of importance.

You will be based in Stockholm and report directly to the director of marketing department.
