Therefore, we need to strengthen the Azelio Supply Chain Management (SCM) team with motivated and talented people. Today, we are approximately 28 persons located in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, and Åmål. We are responsible for Supplier Quality, Procurement, Cost Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain, and support our product development and product industrialisation.

As Manager Strategic Sourcing you would lead a team of 6 Strategic Purchasers located in Göteborg and Åmål. This team has a crucial role in the industrialization phase of our product, as our manager, you will take accountability for the continued building of the supplier base, ensure supplier readiness and performance during the production ramp-up, drive long-term sustainable cost reduction, and minimize supply risk.

Your position

You will develop a growing team to fit the rapidly changing prerequisites in terms of resources, competencies, and team diversity. You are responsible to improve, develop and implement function-relevant processes and procedures such as supplier relationship-, category- and contract management. You are accountable for the implementation and improvement of working methods, tools, and procedures.

• Accountable for the Azelio supplier base of direct material
• Drive continuous development of sourcing strategies and their implementation in cross-functional cooperation
• Ensure adequate purchasing agreements and fulfillment of supplier requirements
• Responsible for cost reductions and material availability
• Support your team in critical supplier escalations and contract negotiations and if required, directly manage a limited number of key suppliers
• Develop market intelligence tools and reports for e.g., critical raw materials

Your profile

You are a team player with a positive attitude, you love to support your colleagues both in daily work and in critical contract negotiations. Responsibility and own initiatives should be obvious for you. Strong communicative, strategic, and analytical skills are a must in this role.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with personnel responsibility
• Experienced in contract negotiation and supplier relationship skills in an international environment
• Understanding of supply chain processes
• Experience in metal raw material sourcing is an advantage
• Good computer skills including MS Office, strong in Excel
• Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
